FREE Initial Consultation
Every great project starts with a conversation. In this initial, obligation-free consultation we:

Contract Agreement & Brief Development
Once we decide to work together, we formalise our engagement:
You’ll receive a clear Contract Agreement outlining scope of services, fees and deliverables.
Together we develop a detailed Project Brief, a document that captures your goals, spatial needs, functional requirements, style preferences, budget aspirations and site-specific information.
This brief becomes the blueprint for your project’s ambition, it’s what we measure every design decision against from here on. Many firms treat this step as programming or pre-design because it’s where the real groundwork is laid.
Phase 3
Concept & Design Development
This is where ideas take shape:
We explore multiple concept options, using sketches, diagrams and early 3D visuals to help you see possibilities.
You’ll review design directions and give feedback, your input directly shapes the design evolution.
Once a preferred concept is chosen, we develop it into a more refined design, integrating considerations like site orientation, planning requirements, sustainability, materials and spatial flow.
The aim here is to balance creativity with practicality ensuring the design not only looks good but responds to your lifestyle needs and regulatory contexts.
Phase 4
Planning & Approval
Before we can document the build, we need the green light from regulatory authorities:
We prepare and lodge all necessary documentation for Development Approval (DA), Complying Development Certification (CDC), or other planning permissions depending on your project’s location and complexity.
This includes drawings, reports, shadow diagrams, planning statements and any specialist consultant inputs (e.g., engineers, landscape architects).
We manage communication with council or certifiers and respond to any reviews or requests for amendments.
Getting approvals can be one of the more detailed steps, but it’s essential for building legally and with confidence.
Phase 5
Construction Documentation
With approvals secured, we prepare the full set of technical construction drawings and documents necessary to build:
Detailed architectural plans, sections and elevations.
Construction details, schedules, specifications and material call-outs.
Coordination with structural, civil and building services consultants.
Specifications for finishes, fittings and fixtures, leaving no guesswork for builders.
This package becomes the contractual and practical reference set for your builder, ensuring your vision is documented clearly and accurately.
